What Pharmacy First covers
The service covers seven conditions, with different age limits: impetigo and infected insect bites from age 1; earache for ages 1–17; sore throat from age 5; sinusitis from age 12; shingles from age 18; and uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women aged 16–64. Other eligibility criteria also apply.
What happens during your consultation
A pharmacist will ask about your symptoms and assess whether the service is suitable. Depending on the findings, they may offer self-care advice, supply treatment where appropriate, or direct you to a GP or another healthcare service. A consultation does not always result in medicine being supplied.
Getting the right help
You can approach the pharmacy directly or be referred by another NHS service. If your age or symptoms fall outside a Pharmacy First pathway, our team can still advise you about the next step. Do not wait for a routine booking if you need urgent medical help.

Use our existing Semble booking page to see available appointments. The team will confirm suitability during the consultation. Personal and health details are handled through the booking and clinical process; there is no patient questionnaire on this website.
